It has been one of those months where their seems like there are seriously not enough hours of daylight. Most of my nights I have been staying up till 11pm finishing projects, starting new ones, making decissions, trying to work out the next step and then just going about the day with the general house duties that need to be attended too.

Their is so much happening at the moment it is all hard to comprehend their for the blogging has been slow and my camera hasnt had much use of late. Just to stay turned I will dig up some pics that I have taken that may be of interest and I hope that my next blog will be lots more exciting.

Relaxing Weekend with Mon, Ken & Bianca

 Hi to all my Country Vintage Clutter followers. Firstly I must say I have been terrible slack when it comes to posting on my blog, but you will be pleased to know, that I have been awfully busy at work on some new projects that I will announce in about 5 - 6 weeks time!   So keep an eye out & no snoozing!!

What I can tell you, is that My Mother in-law {Monica} Fake Father In-law {Ken} & my favourite sister In-law {Bianca} have been out to visit our place in the country, for a relaxing and catch up sort of a weekend.

So let me show you, what we got up too!

 

One of our favourite places in Blackall to go and take along our visitors, is Daisy Cottage. Well known for that fine cup of Coffee, a touch of bush retail therapy of unique gifts that r hard to find, and well loved gardens to relax in.

Bianca came across this sign in my guest bathroom, she loved this saying so much  and I will say she will  use it forever onwards.

Sewing is always on the agenda when Mon visits. Mon will always have her little sewing bag of goodies not far out of reach. Mon helped me with some projects I had on the go over the weekend and Bianca & I helped her with some bottles she always brings to share :-)

Bianca was quite relaxed infront of the fire! It's obvious I could have offered her a more suitable chair but Im sure the CountrySTYLE magazines & warm fire kept her happy enough!

Billy tea & Damper time! We were so carried away out fishing {Not catching fish, but chatting and relaxing} that we forgot to cook the Damper.   This was no worries at all, we still cooked it on Kens burner when we returned home. (GLUTEN FREE) of course for me, so I guess it wasn't the tastess of them all.

Well what a fantastic weekend we had. I sometimes wish those weekends would last forever.

Cane Chair - GIFT / BARGAIN - A good ol friend Stacey, spotted 6 cane chairs sitting out the front of the Blackall Thrift Stop early one morning.  Hit the brakes to find only 3 left for sale. Stacey grabbed the 3 and paid a whopping $2 each for them.  Stacey keep 2 and kindly gave one to me, as she knew I would treasure it forever! Thank you Stacey your the best & so so kind!

Our New Guttering

Our New Guttering is almost complete! Builders have been working hard at it all week. Such a huge job by the looks and such a huge difference as well.

Finally we will not get saturated with a down pour of rain running from the roof when making a dash out the door!

My New Workshirt Rack!!

 How cool is this little project??? A colourful display of my Work shirts ready to wear when needed.  Absolutely Love wearing these RB Sellers Workshirts for work or play!

 I purchased these gorgeous timber/metal racks {x2} from Ebay and I am so happy with them.
